funny dates to note

because i am on New Zealand and Australia calendar
the week before Xmas till the new year will have me
nothing to do at the office
which is coolness and leaves me time to shuffle things around
but still having to go to the office unfortunately

I have however found out that countries like
Taiwan, China, Thailand and Vietnam do not have Christmas as their public holiday
and the Russian Federation somehow celebrates Xmas on the 7th of Jan
I mean even countries like Malaysia and Indonesia celebrate Xmas..
Why not Taiwan, China, Thailand and Vietnam?
And what is up with the Russian Federation..Xmas in January?

And i do question countries like Thailand have public holidays for their Queen's birthday
So when a new queen is appointed, do the public holiday change accordingly?
If it doesn't, it's still cool coz you have 2 birthdays, just that one of them isn't a public holiday..

And Japan has some very cool public holidays
1) Coming of Age Day
2) Greenery Day
3) Respect-for-the Aged Day
4) Bank Holiday

Bank Holidays falls twice a year over 3 days!! How cool!

Freedom Day - ok ok i get it, its national day but its still weird
imagine the excuse, "hey, its freedom day, i'll do watever i want!"

Day of Reconciliation - everyone lets just fight and be enemies and wait for this day to come to reconcile

Victory Day - everyone's a winner..i guess

Assumption Day - a chaotic day coz everyone just assumes for that day and we all know assume is making an ASS of U and ME

Solar New Year Day - woah we celebrate earth time, they include the whole solar system!

emptiness

picture this:-
i have 3 wires which need to be plugged into
my laptop every morning before i press that ON button
this morning was no different
as i took out my laptop
to brutely torture myself to work slavery
i plugged in the first wire
then the second
only to find something missing
i knew there were more than 2 wires
so there i was thinking what was missing
excuse the monday block at 9 in the morning
and a rumbling stomach
then i cursed amongst my colleagues
"Shit, i think someone stole my mouse!"
so today i am left with that stupid censor mouse
not the touchpad but that little red dot kind of shit
and every now and then my hand goes to the mouse pad
to feel empty
gosh i hate that empty feeling
desperate situations comes to desperate measures
i was tempted to find other people's mouse to borrow
to realise that no one leaves their mouse on the table
either that or the mouse thief went on a mouse shopping spree
so tomorrow i will bring my mouse from home
and it will travel with me every morning and evening

weird ethics

its funny that my boss and i are separately
by just a 1.75m blue and green partition
but instead of me just swinging by to ask him a question
i email him and he happily replies
when he could actually swing by or even better
stand up and tower over the partition and
give me an awesome reply and wink
or also follow the footsteps of others and
just talk over the partition

but you can't quite put your finger on it
not forgetting putting a smile on your face
or spurting water because of the content
shifts your old foul mood to a santa's ho-ho
only to come to realise that it was

complications between a man and woman

up to this day, i somehow rather find
that men are more complicated than women

I don't get how a guy can claim that he loves the girl very much
and yet he treats her like trash
and the girl continues looking up to her boyfriend like he's GOD
unfortunately, girls uses her heart to think
whilst guys uses their sexual organ
i'm not defaming all guys
i've seen good apples but this i don't get
aren't you supposed to be on ends when you claim she's the one
do they think by showing his weight around
the girl will accept it as her fate
a person will burst one day with all that abuse

sadly of 4 i know
1 is a very good apple while the other is a 50-50
while the other 2 are darn rotten
is this gonna be the statistics for good men amongst us?

and today's news was a real turn off
5 men with aids went to donate their blood
without admitting to having aids
just what does this say..

when sayings prove right

you know the two sayings of
expect the unexpected
and good things comes to those who wait

well these 2 sayings are one deadly combo
and the best result is when these 2 sayings
come together,
not much of an effect when only one of them happens
and as always, when good things happen
i am usually NOT looking my best
meaning i'm NOT having a good hair day
and of course I am NOT feeling to good
which leads to me NOT dressing up
so the unexpected visits becomes a big surprise
which makes one look like an ultimate goofball
what more whilst i was digging in the stationary cupboard
only to look up to see a very familiar face
the one person u last expect to see in those conditions

what a way things work
coz i was close to taking a half day leave
due to the impossible-ness of trying to
work under such painful and horrible monthly torture
but becoz i'm an uber small fry here
i shall not be a weakling and continue with the pain
so the little visit was good
a big smile and an even bigger brainwave
worth the wait i would say
